The National Moderne Learning Cottage, as designed by DPZ , was based on modern architecture found in many post-war early suburban neighborhoods. This cottage features ribbon windows at regular height as well as high clerestory windows. This abundance of windows provides ample daylightinig, cross ventillation, and views of green space. Overhands provide protection for the windows.

The character of this learning cottage is more contemporary than the other two. The asymetrical facade makes is appropriate for post-war suburbs and contemporary urban settings.
